Where to Find All Puzzle Pieces in Astro Bot’s Serpent System

In Astro Bot, players are tasked with recovering pieces of the mothership that have been stolen by Nebulax, an alien introduced at the beginning of the game. As you traverse through different worlds, one of the key areas you’ll explore is the Serpent System, the third galaxy in the game. This galaxy offers a chance to rescue many Bots, discover Secret Galaxy levels, and unlock various activities at the Bot Base by collecting puzzle pieces.

In total, there are 16 puzzle pieces hidden within the Serpent System. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the specific locations of each puzzle piece to help you unlock new activities.

Puzzle Piece #1

After passing the first electric roulette, you’ll come across several platforms that need to be tilted in the correct direction. Slow down time to keep the platforms steady, and you’ll find the first puzzle piece sitting on a platform to the right.

Puzzle Piece #2

When you encounter your first chameleon, look down below it. You’ll spot an electric roulette with a puzzle piece. Slow down time to reach it, and use the trampoline to jump back up afterward.

Puzzle Piece #3

Once you pass the first dart, two more will appear and land on a target to the right. Before crossing, look down to find a small platform. Drop down onto it and enter the hole to find the last puzzle piece of this level.

Puzzle Piece #1

After gaining the sponge ability, absorb water to inflate yourself. Head to the grassy area on the right and release the water to help grow plants. Once the bushes have sprouted, a puzzle piece will appear in the center.

Puzzle Piece #2

In the area with fire-spitting enemies, look for a black blob spraying liquid on a tapestry on the right. Use your sponge ability to remove the blob and clean the tapestry, revealing a puzzle piece.

Puzzle Piece #3

After climbing up a metal pipe wall, you’ll encounter more fire-spitting enemies and several crates. Defeat the enemies and smash the crates to uncover sponges. Absorb water with the sponges, and a puzzle piece will appear above them.

Puzzle Piece #1

At the very beginning of this level, you’ll find the first puzzle piece inside a large rock on the right side.

Puzzle Piece #2

In an area accessible by breaking a glass window on the right side of the level, you’ll find a glass floor that can be shattered. Break through the floor to enter a hidden area, and pull on the cable at the center of a mushroom circle to make the puzzle piece appear.

Puzzle Piece #3

Once you’ve freed the Giant, the final puzzle piece will appear on the rooftop of the gazebo near the beach.

All Puzzle Pieces in Caught in Time

Puzzle Piece #1

You can collect this puzzle piece at the very beginning of the level while you’re still aboard your ship. To get it, boost forward and hit the golden serpent, causing the puzzle piece to appear a little farther ahead.

Puzzle Piece #2

After draining and refilling the bottle with blue liquid, you’ll arrive on a platform with a serpent and other enemies. Defeat the serpent to make leaves appear on the wall, then take out the blob hiding in the left recess. Pull the cable to sprout a flower, but instead of using it right away, climb the leaves. Once you’re on the final leaf, look back to see a bottle on top of the tower. Double-jump and use your flower to reach the platform, defeat the caterpillar, and break the bottle to retrieve the puzzle piece.

In the upper part of the area with toxic liquid, you’ll eventually reach a glass platform surrounded by electric enemies. Break the glass to drop to a lower platform, where the final puzzle piece of the level can be found.

Puzzle Piece #1

At the start of the level, near the wreckage, head to the platforms on the left and climb up. You’ll find the first puzzle piece behind a lock on the lower level of the ship. Hit the lock to break it, and pull on a cable to remove the barrier.

Puzzle Piece #2

After passing the ship’s masts, you’ll reach some ruins. Immediately to your left, there’s a puzzle piece behind some bars. To unlock it, pull on the face carvings on either side of the bars and match their expressions to the face above.

Puzzle Piece #3

Upon entering the temple, turn around to find a chest. Open the chest to reveal the final puzzle piece of this level.
